About the Chef
Hello everyone! My name is Nicole Ellis, from the moment I was a little girl, cooking has been my passion—whether whipping up mac and cheese for my siblings or bravely attempting apple pies inspired from Zoom Kids. My culinary adventure took a professional turn in 2018 when I enrolled at Monroe Community College. That experience, coupled with studying abroad and landing an internship at Oak Hill country club, ignited my love for the vibrant hustle and bustle of the kitchen. I was hired after my internship but had to work very hard to prove myself and climb the culinary ladder. I finally was promoted to Banquet Sous Chef and couldn't be happier.
Currently, I am taking a break from Oak Hill country club as we are entering a 45 million dollar renovation, think of it as a culinary sabbatical.
I’m using this time to keep myself busy until renovations are complete. During this interlude, I’m diving into the world of personalized dining experiences and catering. I truly love connecting one-on-one with guests, crafting meals that not only satisfy the palate but also spark joy and laughter.
